I have always enjoyed making images - including in my professional life as an NHS radiologist. Painting with watercolour was a hobby for many years but turned to oil following my retirement from clinical practice in 2018. This became a compulsive passion during the Covid Lockdowns of 2020/21, using oil, watercolour or mixed media. Landscapes and seascapes from the South West of England are my primary inspiration (mainly Mendip Hills, Exmoor National Park and Cornwall).
